Over 1 million people were under mandatory evacuation while Hurricane Florence made landfall on Friday, September 14th. While the storm has passed, we are now dealing with the aftermath of the hurricane (i.e. damaged homes, flood waters). Here are 5 ways you can help your local community post Hurricane Florence.

Donate here to help assist those in need after Hurricane Florence.
Get involved with an organization that you are affiliated with or go to VolunteerSC.org.
Did you stock up before the storm and now have way too many water bottles and canned foods? Drop them off at the South Carolina Food Bank Association or call (803) 254-4432 to find out what they need most.
The state is not taking clothing donations at this time. If you have clothing items that you want to donate, bring them to a charitable organization who can make the best use of the donations.
5. Help rebuild local economy
Buy resources and materials locally to help rebuild the economy in the affected areas.
